Academy of Prisons and Correctional Administration

The Academy of Prisons and Correctional Administration (APCA), Vellore.

It gives me a great sense of pleasure, pride and satisfaction to head the Academy of Prisons and Correctional Administration (APCA), Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

Established in 1979, the Academy has grown to the level of an institution with international repute in imparting training to prisons and correctional service officers during the last three and half decades.

I am particularly happy that I was a trainee in the sixth batch of one year basic course at the Academy, hence my alma mater.

Set amidst a hassle free environment in the outskirts of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, the Academy is geographically adjacent to the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka as well.
