The app of the H2020 EU-funded REBECCA project

The app is part of the EU-funded H2020 REBECCA project (REsearch on BrEast Cancer induced chronic conditions supported by Causal Analysis of multi-source data). Grant Agreement No. 965231.

The REBECCA project aims to use Real-world Data for supporting groundbreaking clinical research on complex chronic conditions in breast cancer. Through this app, participants in the REBECCA studies will provide data for objectively quantifying aspects of their functional status, emotional status and living environment.

The app collects data from smartphone sensors in order to estimate and quantify aspects of the users' functional and emotional status as well as their living environment. In addition to the phone's sensor, the app also integrates and collects physical activity data, like daily steps or active calories, from GARMIN smartwatches.

Furthermore, after pairing with a GARMIN watch via the REBECCA app, the user is able to receive phone calls and notifications in their smartwatch, without the need for an additional smartwatch companion app.
