Roblox All Star Tower Defense X Tier List (July 2025)

Top 30 fan-favorite units are grouped from S to F tiers to help you build the ultimate roster in All Star Tower Defense X. Most are excellent DPS and one or two are buff/income provided, all top picks. Narrow down your choice in this tier list and decide which to accompany you across your ASTD X adventure. First and foremost, prioritize practices! The best fighters take weapons as their intimate friend, as a part of their body. For an even better chance of survival, strategic choices have to be made. Every pick must be strongly based on playstyle and status. An S-tier may be strong yet usually involves limits (e.g., Slayer Mage is SPA-limited and Venus too expensive), not beginners' first choices. Instead, classic ones like Kosuke and Super Koku are much friendlier.

Three All Star Tower Defense X codes were released in early July 2025. Be sure to grab all free rewards.

How Tier Rankings Work

All Star Tower Defense X (ASTD X) Units are ranked based on their overall strength, utility, and effectiveness across all game modes. Factors include:

DPS (Damage Per Second)
Range and AoE
Special abilities (e.g., stun, freeze, buff)
Upgrade cost and ease of use
Synergy with other units

S-Tier Units: The Meta Definers

Below are units considered the best in the current meta, excelling in damage, utility, or both. Prioritize these for your team if you want to breeze through the toughest content.

Dark Wing: Exceptional range and DPS, top pick for infinite mode, though costly to upgrade.
Michishibo: Highest one-shot damage, bleed effects, and outstanding overall DPS.
Etri: High DPS support with freezing abilities, valuable in all modes.
Super God Koku: Insane DPS and range, a meta hill unit for every mode.
Jin Sung: Versatile 5-star ground unit, can summon allies and deliver massive DPS.
Slayer Mage: High DPS and range, meta for infinite, but has a long SPA.
Venus: Excellent AoE and range, short SPA, but expensive.
Super Borul: Great DPS, range, and relatively affordable upgrades.

A-Tier Units: Strong and Reliable

Excellent choices for most scenarios, often acting as frontline damage dealers or versatile supports:

Ikki (Hollow): Infinite range and high DPS, though limited by line AoE and SPA.
Kujo: Great DPS and short SPA, but limited range.
The Strongest One: Applies burn damage, fantastic against bosses, but costly to upgrade.
Water Goddess: Strong AoE and range, good for most game modes.
Whitestache: Good DPS, range, and shield-breaking ability.
Zorro: High AoE DPS and range, though expensive and slow SPA.

B-Tier Units: Good, But Not Essential

These fill gaps in your team or serve as budget options. Some shine in early or specific modes.

Support Units: The Backbone of Many Teams

Blackstache: Slows enemies, excellent range.
King Kaoe: Boosts allies’ damage by 75%, but can destroy your base shield.
Mysterious X: Stuns enemies, decent DPS.
Onwin: Buffs nearby allies, cheap to place and upgrade.
Ramen Grill-Master: Generates cash every turn, great for farming.
Shirtless Magician: Freezes enemies, excellent range.
Xero: Buffs allies, but has no DPS.

How to Get the Best Units

Summoning: Use Gems to summon on rotating banners (X and Y), which refresh every hour. Featured units are only available while on the banner.
Codes: Redeem codes for free Gems and other rewards to increase your chances of pulling top-tier units.
Progression: Some units can be evolved or ascended, increasing their power and rarity.

Tips for Building Your Team

Balance DPS and Support: Don’t fill your team with only damage dealers; include at least one support or buff unit.
Upgrade Wisely: Focus resources on S and A-tier units for maximum impact.
Watch for Synergies: Some units work best when paired (e.g., Nezichi with a bleed unit, Kosuke (TS) with Zaruto (Sage)).
