2023-06-02
Get ready for the June 2023 Community Day in Pokemon Go as Axew takes the spotlight. Niantic's Hidden Gems season is in full swing, promising a host of new Pokemon and themed events to keep players engaged. Don't miss out on this exciting update!
Niantic has launched the eleventh season of Pokémon Go called "Hidden Gems" which will continue for three months and introduce new creatures and events to the augmented reality game. Within a week, players can participate in two themed events - Searching for Gold Research Day and Water Festival: Beach Week. The Community Day event is scheduled for June right after these two events.
The June 2023 Community Day for Pokémon Go is featuring Axew as the star of the show. This cute Tusk Pokémon will be seen more often in its natural habitat on June 10th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm according to your local time zone. There are even rumors that it may be simpler to find a Shiny version during this event.
Trainers can gather sufficient Candy by catching many Axew, which will enable them to evolve it into Fraxure and eventually Haxorus. If they achieve this within five hours of the event's conclusion, they will receive a Haxorus with Breaking Swipe as its Charged Attack.
During the event, there will be various bonuses available to assist trainers with their tasks. From 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, catching Pokémon will earn trainers three times the amount of experience points and double the amount of candy. Trainers who have reached level 31 or above will also receive a Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will remain active for a duration of three hours, and an additional Special Trade can be made at half price using Stardust.
Furthermore, there will be an extra Raid Battle starting after the event that includes Fraxure in four-star raids until 10:00 pm local time. If players successfully defeat it, Axew will appear nearby for the next thirty minutes. This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain Fraxure and capture enough Axew for its final evolution.
Make sure to participate in the Community Day Special Research story as well, which can be purchased for only one dollar per ticket.
