The crystal ball beginning

The crystal ball discovery: 1798

Two English explorers discover it in Africa during an expedition, in a cave which has not been visited by men for centuries. The adventurers bring it back to England as well as other objects (some masks and grigri). Our two friends don't know that the crystal ball has magic powers, and simply lets it take the dust in their shop during the years.

The man who will reveal the crystal ball power

A collector known as Lord Donlon, visits the explorers shop in the 1808 year, exactly the March 13th. His look is first attracted by a strange necklace with feathers. But approaching it he sees that it is chicken feathers, and loose quickly his interest.

Then he sees a panel with enigmatic inscriptions, but by looking a bit more closely he can decipher them and it means in an old Celtic language:'Please close the door after using'. Certainly a panel to hang above the latrine door.

Finally, he notices something at the back of the room and his experience doesn't deceive him: he has never seen something like that. This crystal ball seems to come from a different universe.

The collector asks for the price and buys it with a 20% discount.

The crystal ball magic power

Lord Donlon goes back home and puts the crystal ball on the table of his living room. His first gesture is to take a rag to clean all the dust. What a surprise, when, passing the rag on the crystal he notices a kind of light inside.

Our Lord's heart makes a jump in his chest! Witchcraft ! What is that ?

He tries again and the light becomes more important and forms an image inside of the ball. This image is Laura's face, a friend whom he had not seen for 7 years.

The crystal ball has talked

Lord Donlon feels a kind of fever. He seats down in an armchair and drinks a whiskey glass in one shot. That is a strange experience, it is hard to believe it.

Five minutes later after the stress and excitement have gone down, the Lord is getting up from his armchair, and at this moment he hears knocking at the door.

He goes to open it and you can imagine his surprise when he discovers her friend Laura.
