Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre, BPATC is the apex training institution in Bangladesh where almost all BCS officials and non-cadre officers belonging to various departments, autonomous, semi-autonomous and non-government organizations are imparted training in an excellent environment. BPATC becomes a centre of excellence for developing patriotic, competent and professional civil servants dedicated to public interest. As a public sector human resource development organization, it values Discipline, Integrity, Inclusiveness, Professionalism, Learning for results, Innovation and Team Spirit.

Foundation Training Course (FTC) is the compulsory course for all newly recruited public servants of Bangladesh. Under supervision of the Rector of the centre, with advising of the Course Advisor (CA), The Course Management Team (CMT) comprises of one Course Director (CD) and Ten Course Coordinators (CC) conducts the FTC.
