How did Cataki come about?

Our recycling app was born from Pimp My Carroça, a project focused on giving visibility to the important work of waste pickers — they are the ones who guarantee the collection of 90% of everything that Brazil recycles. It was to facilitate this flow that we built Cataki in 2017. Today we have more than 45 thousand users ensuring responsible waste disposal.
