Your Mission: Hunt, harvest, craft, and build to survive the elements and other players.  Explore and discover dinosaurs and many other species on the ground, up to the sky, and down the water.

Ready for a Face-to-face with Primeval Dinosaurs!

- Dinosaur Hunt Guide: First, lock onto your target, make an ambush, and knock it out. To hit it unconsciously, use a torpor-inflicting weapon (such as tranq arrows, tranq darts, a Pulmonoscorpius, or even your fists). 

- Tame & train dinosaurs: Train dinosaurs and make them your ultimate weapon! Once tamed dinosaurs, you can try to issue commands, level them up, and equip them with armor and gears.

- Breed baby dinosaurs: Witness the magical dinosaur breeding process with your own eyes! Feed it lizards, turtles, bird eggs, or early mammals, and grow your dinosaurs strong! There's a trait system designed in-game based on genetic inheritance, including both egg-based incubation and mammalian gestation. Follow the system instructions and you will get young generations of dinosaurs successfully!

- Ride on dinosaurs: Enjoy being the new alpha of your dinosaur team, dino rider! In ARK: Survival Evolved, you will fly Pterodactyls over mountains or lead Raptor packs through the jungle!

Various species live in the ARK: Survival Evolved world, up to the sky, down to the ground, and even deep in the seawater. Go diving underwater and if you are lucky, you may see 10-metre-long colossal squid. Deep in the cave underground hides a dangerous and deadly creature - a scary giant spider.

Survive Hunger, Thirst, and Enemy Attacks

- Eat and drink to stay alive, considering the varying nutritional properties of different plants and meats (including human meat!). 

- Secure a fresh water supply and be mindful of the cost of physical actions. 

- Inventory weight affects your movement, and the day/night cycle and randomized weather patterns alter the environment's temperature, influencing hunger and thirst. 

- Build fires and shelters, and craft customizable clothing and armor for protection against damage and extreme temperatures.

Build, Paint, and Reinforce Your Shelter

- Chop down forests and mine precious resources to craft complex snap-linked structures. 

- Build ramps, beams, pillars, windows, doors, gates, and more. 

- Reinforce your buildings, as structures have a load system that causes them to collapse if support is destroyed. 

- Customize your home with paint, signs, and decorative objects. Shelter reduces weather extremes and provides security for you and your stash.

Seek Seeds, Grow Plants, and Harvest Crop Food

- Pick seeds from wild vegetation, plant them in plots, and nurture them with fertilizer (everything poops and some fertilizer is better than others!). 

- Tend to your crops to produce rare and delicious fruits, used in cooking recipes and tonics. 

- Explore to find the rarest plant seeds with the most powerful properties! Thrive as a vegetarian or vegan and conquer the ARK without violence.

Call God-Like Mythical Creatures to Fight for You

- Bring rare sacrificial items to special summon locations to attract the attention of the ARK's god-like mythical creatures. 

- These gargantuan monstrosities are an end-game goal for experienced players and their armies of tames. 

- Defeating them yields valuable progression items.

Form a Tribe and Dominate It as a Master

- Create a Tribe with friends, where all your tames are commanded by and allied to anyone in the Tribe. 

- Respawn at your Tribe's home spawn points. 

- Promote members to Tribe Admins to manage effectively. 

- Share key items and passcodes to access your shared village!

RPG Statistics, Blueprints, and Explorer Notes

- All items are crafted from Blueprints with variable stats and qualities, requiring corresponding resources. 

- Level up your player character and tames by gaining experience through actions. Learn new "Engrams" to craft Items from memory without blueprints. 

- Customize your character's appearance. 

- Find clues left by past Survivors in the form of collectible "Explorer Notes" to piece together the true nature and purpose of the ARK!

Hardcore Mechanics and Persistence

- Everything you craft has durability and wears out with use. 

- Your character remains sleeping in the persistent world even when you leave the game. - Your inventory physically exists in the world and can be looted, so build up defenses, team up, or use tames to guard your stash. Death is permanent!

Structures Above-Ground, Below-Ground, and Underwater

- Discover procedurally randomized creatures and rare blueprints. 

- Find Explorer Notes that detail the creatures and backstory of the ARK. 

- Fully develop your in-game ARK map through exploration, write custom points of interest, and use a Compass or GPS to aid exploration with other players.

Large-World Persistence and Meta-Universe

- On 100+ player servers, your character, buildings, and tames stay in-game even when you leave. 

- Travel your character and items between the network of ARKs by accessing Obelisks and uploading/downloading your data. 

- Explore a galaxy of ARKs, each slightly different, and leave your mark. 

- Special official ARKs are unveiled for limited-time themed events with limited-run items. 

- Design or randomize your own unique 'Procedurally Generated ARKs' for infinite replayability.

The hyper-real imagery of the ARK: Survival Evolved and its creatures is brought to life with a highly-customized Unreal Engine 5, featuring fully dynamic lighting & global illumination, weather systems, volumetric cloud simulation, and advanced DirectX11 and DirectX12 rendering techniques. 

Hunt premeval dinos like Raptors, T-Rex, Pterodactyls, etc. Feed them with their preferred food to bond with them. In this way, you can get them easily tamed and they will be your most trusted, loyal companions. Go out with your ultimate dino team. Fight or have trouble getting along and make your relationship stronger and closer. Surviving in the ARK: Survival Evolved world is not easy, so Never fight alone! Always make forming allies your top priority.
