School Nurse Matters

School Nurse Matters is a new and exciting mobile app for young people aged 10 to 18. The app provides students with easily accessible information relating to a wide range of sensitive topics, in a setting that is familiar to them, safe and user friendly.

We know that many young people feel awkward talking to adults and their peers about personal health problems. Working with NHS staff, we have set about developing a platform that health professionals, teachers and parents can trust. Students can feel confident in the knowledge they are accessing current information and have an overview of the range of health and well-being services available to them in their locality.

We hope that this will lead to an increase in appropriate access to health services for children and young people and allow school nurses to work more efficiently in providing care where it is most needed.
