MediGrade Meditations, or “Medi’s,” are mindfulness-based and composed of several key factors that direct the participant to a greater awareness of body and mind. Multiple techniques are used, including breath control, body relaxation, mental imagery and body-mind awareness.

Although there are many variations of meditation styles, the basic core of each “Medi” is controlled breathing. Breath-based meditation techniques fundamentally utilize rhythmic breathing to guide practitioners to enter into deeply meditative and relaxed mental states.

Meditation is highly useful for modern day living as it can be used by individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, spiritual beliefs, age, education and income levels. It can be effectively practiced in just a few minutes a day or for longer periods of time, and can improve one’s quality of life.
