Inner Matrix - Meditation Quantified

Have you ever wanted to quantify your meditation experience? Do you want someone to give you real-time bio-feedback loop to help you get deeper into your meditation experience? Here is a free meditation app that just that!

In order to use the app:

- Place it in front of your face, ideally in a phone holder.

- Open the app and set the timer.

- The app uses the front camera of your phone to gather your heart rate variability (HRV) through image processing, so let it access the camera and start your meditation.

- You will hear music in the background - that is your bio-feedback loop. Our algorithm detects even minor changes in your heart rhythm and provides instant feedback using 3 kinds of voices: (Active = Stormy), (Neutral = Forest Sunny Day), (Calm = Sunny Day)

- Just stay with the music, if you hear storm that means you need to relax and focus on your breath. If you hear forest (too many birds singing) then you are in the neutral zone, focus a bit more and try to enter the calm zone where the background music will change to just a few birds singing. The longer you will stay in the calm zone, the better will be your meditation experience.

A few tips to use the app:

- Make sure your face has enough lighting while meditating otherwise the app will not be able to detect HRV.

- Make sure the app can see your face from where you place it. The ideal distance is 2 to 2.5 feet from yourself. Basically, just follow the rules of a selfie.

- If there no music in the background that means the app is not able to detect your face, you can re-confirm it by looking at the bottom progress bar (just above the chart), if it's not running that means the app is not able to see you. Adust your phone according to the guidelines above.
