What is cooking fume?

Cooking fume is a harmful gas generated when cooking at high temperatures using oil, such as frying or grilling, and makes indoor ventilation difficult.

It is a class 1 carcinogen defined by the World Health Organization that causes lung disease and lung cancer in cooking facility workers.
